Being one of the largest fireworks displays, it will take place in nearby Richmond Hill at the Ft. McAllister Marina.  The boat parade begins at the state park pier and ends at the last house on the point.  Live music, food and beverages will be available for your enjoyment.  The Christmas Parade begins at 10:00am and is free to all who want to attend.  The parade will start at Richmond Hill Primary and Carver Elementary School and end in J.F. Gregory Park, a 335-acre recreation facility.

In Savannah, GA, there are several additional activities to keep you busy during the holiday season.  Luckily for Georgians, the weather this time of year is comfortable, so being able to enjoy cruises is something to take advantage of if you are visiting.  There is one-hour scenic Santa Cruise available on one of the newly remodeled riverboats.  This narrated cruise will provide cruise-goers with a comprehensive holiday-themed history of Savannah.  Cruises are available for reservations on Friday and Saturday through mid-December.

For a true southern Christmas experience, there’s also a two hour Christmas Gospel Dinner Cruise with a southern-style buffet and live Gospel music.  Fun for the whole family can be found on multiple days throughout December by turning out for the Christmas Tradition Show featuring performances of Christmas standards, comedy and audience participation for a lively show bringing out the best in your Christmas spirit.
