Buckhead North is a sister Homeowners Association to the original Buckhead, Buckhead South and Buckhead East but is in fact its own Homeowners Association. Buckhead North is located about 10 minutes from downtown Richmond Hill at about 35 minutes or 28 miles to downtown Savannah Georgia. There are numerous routes either along Interstate 95 or Highway 204 through Georgetown.

Buckhead North is a community of about 1000 residents, home to many military families because of its close proximity to Fort Stewart. There are a variety of real estate options for sale in Buckhead North including single-family homes, ranch or contemporary style properties. There are numerous winding streets and beautifully landscaped yards and lawns with affordable options and recreational facilities close by.

Buckhead North is served by the Richmond Hill elementary school, the Richmond Hill middle school and the Richmond Hill high school all within 5 miles of this community.

Pooler Georgia Real Estate Market Report

Pooler Georgia Real Estate Market Report – 2nd Quarter 2013

The Pooler Georgia area is somewhat seeing a comeback over the last few months but March to April trended to be a little bit slower. As we head into the second and third quarter of 2013 we’re seeing an average listing price of around $200,000. The median sales price however is about $150,000. Over the last month around the Pooler Georgia area from I16 to North Pooler stretching from Bloomingdale to the city limits of Savannah, there been over 560 homes for sale of which 233 of them have been sold. Out of all the homes for sale 159 have been foreclosures or bank owned homes. This figure is down remarkably so over just the last couple of years. We are seeing more owner/seller’s, more short sales rather than foreclosures, and more properties gaining a profit after sale.Pooler Georgia Real Estate Market Report – 2nd Quarter 2013

The average price per square foot for homes in Pooler Georgia was $84 which is up 6.3% over the same period last year. The median home sales price was based on 110 home sales compared to the same period one year ago. This median home price has decreased about 3.2% overall and the number of home sales has also decreased dramatically at over 38%. This is typically due to less foreclosures and short sales being on the market.

Pooler is a wonderful place to call home and has one of the lowest percentages of violent crimes in Chatham County. We also have a fantastic school district and the West Chatham elementary school has received a rating of 4 to 5 stars. The Pooler elementary school which provides a pre-K through fifth grade also comes in at a rating of four stars.

Pooler also makes a great location for those commuting to downtown Savannah for work as there are several routes and very short commutes times. Pooler provides several basic amenities and daily necessities for residents and visitors alike. Choose from over 20 different restaurants, banks, gas stations, markets, salons and grocery stores. The airport is close by and for that big-city feel Savannah is less than 15 minutes from downtown Pooler.
