The Savannah Riverfront is one of the most visited places by Savannah area residents as well as tourists. It is considered one of the best ways to experience just a part of the beauty of Savannah and is home to several annual events, a variety of restaurants, shopping, nightlife, hotels, and so much more.
4. Forsyth Park
If photography is one of your pasttimes, you won’t want to miss Forsyth Park! This 30 acre park thrives with huge old live oak trees complete with draping Spanish moss and features a fountain located in the center. Don’t be surprised if you see a wedding taking place or seeing the fountain water dyed green if you’re here around St. Patrick’s Day!
5. Juliette Gordon Low’s Birthplace (founder of Girl Scouts of USA)
This is Savannah’s first Registered National Historic Landmark and is authentically furnished as it was in 1886. This extraordinary attraction is certainly one of the most popular and must-see places here in Savannah.
