Seafood Fest on the River May 3-5

You will also want to check out the fabulous food and fun available to you at Seafood Fest on the River. This annual event begins at noon on Friday, May 3 and continues Saturday and Sunday 10am to 11pm. As the name suggests, you can lavish some of the best seafood dishes on the East Coast, each of which seems to capture the charm that is Savannah!

What you might not expect is that this crowd-pleasing festival also features a wide selection of live music, crafts and activities that will delight the whole family! It is a major event here in Savannah and one that you will not want to miss!

First Friday Fireworks May 3

While you are down on the river, be sure to stick around for the First Friday Fireworks. This colorful demonstration of sights and sounds begins at 9:30pm and runs monthly throughout the summer months! The perfect vantage point is from River Street, so be sure that you get down there early to reserve a great spot.
