Richmond Hill is home to nearly 7000 residents and is part of the Savannah Metropolitan area. Originally called Ways Station, located in Bryan County Georgia, Richmond Hill received its name in 1962 from Henry Ford’s home on the banks of the Ogeechee River. Located just outside Fort Stewart, this town welcomes many of those employed at the base.

The Seafood Festival is a time-honored tradition, which started in 1985 as a small community fair that offers local seafood for nonprofit agencies in the area. In 1998, this exciting festival-event moved to JF Gregory Park in Richmond Hill and is now host to over 35,000 attendees annually.
