There is almost as much happening in Savannah for Easter weekend as there is during the Christmas season, including a variety of activities for children and a unique way for adults to celebrate the holiday too!

FOR THE KIDS

Easter Blast – Bring the whole family to Skidaway Island State Park this Saturday, March 30, 2013 for the annual Easter Blast! You’re in for a day filled with hayrides, games and crafts, and an Easter egg hunt at 1:00pm! If the weather is nice, pack your lunch and bring it with you because picnics are always welcome.  The Egg hunt is $2 per child and parking is $5. Need more information? Call 912-598-2300.

Easter Egg Hunt and Doggy Fashion Parade – After the Easter Blast, head on over to Tiedeman Park, across from Savannah Arts Academy in Ardsley Park, for another egg hunt and a fashion parade put on by dogs! Your family will also enjoy music, games, and an all around good time! This event is from 3:00pm – 5:00pm and all dogs are welcome.

Easter Brunch Cruise – The annual Easter Brunch Cruise is such a fun time! Climb aboard the ship at Savannah Riverboat Cruises and join the Easter Bunny as you eat your favorite breakfast and lunch entrees! The Easter Brunch Cruise is on Sunday, March 31, 2013 from 1:00pm – 2:30pm and is $43.95 plus tax for Adults and $23.95 plus tax for Children ages 4-12. Children ages 3 and under are Free! After Brunch, children can enjoy exploring the boat during the Easter Egg Hunt!

FOR THE ADULTS

BunnyCon Savannah – Celebrate on Easter Saturday by going pub crawling with your very own set of Easter Bunny ears, or even dress up as another Easter character! You’ll be “crawling” to Congress Street, Bay Street, and River Street, and remember to bring a basket with candy for the on-lookers. BunnyCon Savannah starts at 2:00pm and lasts until 10:00pm and there is NO admission! Just show up in the Savannah Historic District and have some fun with friends and make some new ones!
