Join hundreds in turning the night streets of Savannah into a wave of blinking lights, music, and pedal powered fun at the 4th Annual Midnight Garden Ride. This family friendly, festive event is a unique way to spend part of Labor Day weekend and all proceeds from this casual, 10 mile ride through downtown benefit Savannah Bicycle Campaign’s efforts to build a better Savannah through bicycling.
This awesome event is presented by New Belgium Brewing and it happens on Saturday September 1, at 8pm at Telfair Square in Historic Savannah, located on Barnard Street between York and State Streets and will be happening rain or shine! The planned route travels through several Historic Savannah neighborhoods including National Landmark Historic District, Victorian District, Thomas Square (Streetcar District), Ardsley Park, and Daffin Park (Parkside).
Stick around after the ride for more festivities including the Good & Evil Party Concert, a costume contest, a raffle and more! The concert features New West recording artist Ponderosa with this mountain of Johnson City, TN. Though the concert is free to Midnight Garden Ride participants, non-riders can purchase tickets through Savannah Stopover.
The costume contest judging begins at 7:15pm (45 MINUTES BEFORE THE GARDEN RIDE) and the awards will be given during the Good and Evil Party after the ride.
