Head on down to Savannah River Street for three full days of Wiener Dog Racing, Bratwurst Tasting, Chicken Dancing, and a heck of an Oompah good time! This is probably one of the most unique events anywhere; seriously, where else will you find such a variety of fun ways to spend a weekend?
This year’s Oktoberfest on the River will be held October 5-7, 2012 and will feature more fun than you can imagine being packed in to one weekend! I’ve already mentioned the Weiner Dog Racing, Bratwurst Tasting, and Chicken Dancing, but there’s more in store than that! You’ll see live entertainment featuring Chuck Courtenay and The Rhinelanders Oompah band, have the chance to experience German food, and of course there will be games and even regional arts & crafts!
There will also be multiple beverage stations offering a variety of beers, wine and Coke products, food vendors, Repicci’s Italian Ice, and many people’s favorite; First Friday Fireworks.
