Pooler Neighborhood – Fort Argyle (Road, Place) Real Estate and Homes

The Pooler Georgia area is split up into two major neighborhoods: the Fort Argyle area and City Center. Fort Argyle is located South of Interstate 16 and West of Interstate 95 encompassing Fort Argyle Road and Fort Argyle place including John Carter Road and Little Neck Road. This is mainly residential neighborhoods and encompasses the ZIP Codes of 31419, 31302, and 31322.

The median home price in the Fort Argyle neighborhood is about $132,000, overall a little higher than most of the neighborhoods in the state. Average rental prices are about $700 according to www.neighborhoodscout.com. Considered a suburban neighborhood of Savannah, this area is made up of medium-sized 2 to 4 bedroom homes and single detached homes or manufactured homes of 1 to 2 bedrooms. Most of the homes in the Fort Argyle neighborhood were built in the last 20 years and a small majority were built before 1980. Average home prices in Fort Argyle are between $90,000 and $175,000 and most homes are owner-occupied. Homes have appreciated at an average annual rate of about 4.46% which is great for a nation’s average.

The Fort Argyle neighborhood has a quite diverse population with several Brazilian and Dutch heritage residents. The majority of residents will typically drive to work since this neighborhood is not quite walking-friendly. The locations are spread out but yet many homes offer larger lots for some acreage.

Kids in this neighborhood attend the Chaffin County school district but most of the elementary, middle and high school campuses are more in town.
